So why the 15 seconds of not readying up?

Kinda pointless that we can't ready up once the timer reaches 15 seconds. Like what's the point of this limit? I don't see it serving any other purpose aside from making everyone wait longer.

    Yeah but if your adjusting your build, uh oh, you waited one second too long, now you're forced to wait an extra 15 seconds for no reason

    Survivor can swap anytime before the last 5 sec that why i hate this because they can have their loadout rdy with all their item and killer cant prep for that
