Crafting, Objectives and Bloodweb. A 3 in 1 Proposal

It's been suggested before about the idea of crafting, and this has gicen me some possibilities involving crafting that may pose answers to three things the community is interested in: Crafting, Objectives and the grind of the Bloodweb.

So, I've wondered about the time killers and survivors have between trials where they find offerings, add-ons, etc. in the Bloodweb. My headcannon is that these items they find strewn about the place. So I wondered what would happen if certain parts for offerings or add-ons needed to be harvested within the trials, for both killer and survivor, similar to those Blight plants.

This would mean that an extra objective for both sides would be introduced which may prolong the game (would still like an EGC equivalent objective to start the trial though!).

Once the trial finishes, the next bit comes in. This is where players can craft offerings, items and add-ons for upcoming trials, so another fun thing. Maybe even a marketplace where parts or items are exchanged? Anyway, this has an unexpected effect for the Bloodweb:

To encourage more scavenging in trial, the Bloodweb can reduce the amount of items it offers, and instead replaces them with more perks. The Bloodweb could maybe shrink the number of nodes and also significantly reduce the availability of rarer items; instead encourage scavenging to find better parts to construct things like keys/ rainbow maps/ Moris/ etc..

In summary: This will introduce a new level of depth. A new portion of gameplay to enjoy. A new objective to participate in the trials for. A reduction in grind, that also incentivises searching for parts within the trial. As a side, BP could then also be used to create items, as well as used within the BloodWeb.

I would like to propose this to you, and also wish you a fantastic new year for the 5th anniversary. Whatever happens, I shall look forward to continue playing your game with all the new year has to offer.
