Why huntress needs an overheat mechanic for her arms

Huntress is a killer that is a lot of the time glossed over however their are many balancing issues with her. Most killers have some form of anti-loop such as Billy with his curves and Demogorgon with its shred. This allows counter play for killers which leads to fun chases on both sides. The problem that some killers have though (in particular huntress), is that they have too much anti-loop. If a survivor is at a short loop there is next to nothing that they can really do, they simply have to hope that the huntress misses their shot which isn't a fun experience. Introducing an overheat mechanic on her arms would allow for survivors to not be in this situation because the huntress cannot use her power. Huntress having no power during this moment would make it so survivors still have a chance and the chases aren't as boring. Billy used to have the same problem as you couldn't counter flicks but now because he cant use his power there is effective counter play.

  • Huntress already has the hinderance of being a 110% killer. This was something billy didn’t have.

Not to mention huntress already has an limited number before reloading

huntress being 110% isnt enough of a drawback. its still unfun to verse at loops because she can throw over it. The reloading feature doesnt do anything tbh

  • I mean it makes sense, those hatchets sure seem heavy and Im sure her arms must get very tired after a while

  • The hatchets are small and big than you think. That's just ruins the concept of the huntress mechanic and gameplay...

  • Huntress is 110% without a hatchet out, with a hatchet out she is slower than survivors....she goes from 110% to 77%, that makes her slower than Nurse when wielding a hatchet

And also Billy can still flick even though he has an overheat meter what are you talking about?
