why am i as a rank 15-18 killer getting matchmade with players that are rank 6-1 almost every game?
Lately it seems that i will only get matchmade with players that are much higher than me in skill level and normally its a little fun cause its like "oh, hey im just having a really bad game" i say as i get flashlight blinded with an entire sports flashlight over and over. Tonight i played against a swf that had two rank ones, one rank two and a rank four. It is entirely unfair, i know this isnt just happening to me either a friend of mine just bought the game and as a rank twenty killer went against a similar stack of survivors. If it were only occasionally or just a single one in a low rank swf it wouldnt be as bad but its almost every game now. If there are any high rank survivors who could give me a few looping tips i could use and pass onto my friend that would be nice, but i am curious if anyone else has this issue.

By the looks of it, the time of the day you usually play around features a massive lack of killers in queue, allowing for high rank variations to happen in order to get people to actually play the game. The reason for it happening is that lately (for quite a long while, in fact) MM prioritizes q-ing time over rank matching precision - I'm not gonna say that it's good or bad, it just, uhm, is.
If this is an option for you, you could try playing a bit earlier and see whether it helps.
