Glyphs should be a regular thing in dbd matches. imo.

Glyphs have been a fantastic addition to the rifts, and the recent addition of "blue glyphs" has made matches even more interesting with their added detriments they grant survivors. it adds a balanced challenge to matches between time efficency towards finding them, risk upon finding them, and the bonus/challenge they help complete!

But as much as i love them being exclusive to rift challenges, i'd love to see them feature in regular matches too.

Giving downsides to the killer/survivor that interacts with them, but a huge boon of bonus bloodpoints/perhaps even iri shards or experience.

The only changes i'd make to them, are to offer more downsides to the interaction (ie exhaustion, haemorhage, madness, and perhaps even the broken status effect for injured survivors, and penalties to breaking speeds, possibly movement speed/scratch marks being temporarily invisible, blood being hidden and aura blindness on the killer side) Along with making them visible from any distance in the endgame.

Rewards for interacting and escaping after having touched a glyph as survivor could be - 10,000-30,000 bonus bp, 100xp or 100 iridecent shards. And rewards for finding them as killer could be - 5,000-15,000 bonus bp, 50xp or 50 iridecent shards. (lower reward on the killer side, due to only having a smaller downside and not requiring escaping.)

TLDR: Glyphs should be in matches without challenges, but have downsides for both sides, and grant rewards for match completion to encouarge searching for them throughout a match, (or rewarding a player for stumbling upon them)
