one thing i think is being missed about RE

i'm seeing a lot of people saying something along the lines of...

"The new killer can't be Lady Dimitrescu. For starters, she's not iconic enough. Secondly, RE: Village isn't even out yet, so why would they add a character from a game that's not even out?"

i really feel like it should be pointed out that the game comes out on the 7th. that's in 2 days.

the announcement isn't for another (almost) 3 weeks. the actual release of the killer after that is probably going to be later than that.

re: village will have a month, perhaps even two months of shelf life before dead by daylight updates. in that time, Lady D can snowball in popularity, especially since this is looking like one of the biggest game launches in 2021 so far.

i know that lots of people don't like the idea on the principle that we just don't know her yet. but by the time the announcement rolls around, we will be extremely familiar with her.

i'm not saying that the new killer is definitely going to be Lady Dimitrescu, but what i am saying is that you can't discount her just because her game's not out yet. keep an open mind.

oh, and, no matter who the killer is, please don't be mad if it's not the one you wanted. we don't wanna be like the smash bros community lol.
