Random Disconnect & DC Penalties

Lots of of people, including me, are randomly kicked since one or two patches ... or the game just freezes and crashes. This can obviously lead to serious issues with your quite strict temporary ban system.

At the very least, you should disable the ban system when lots of people are kicked at the same time (or period of time).

For instance, different people I know were kicked from different games over different continents (EU and NA) at roughly the same time the last week end. Besides, there is also the typical STEAM server maintenance on Tuesday that triggers your ban system each week for months now.

You can easily detect and monitor these weird moments with an unusual high amount of DCs, allowing you to unban/lift all these penalties that are not the player fault or any kind of bad behavior.

There is nothing more annoying than being punished for no real reason!

    Each week, 10k+ players are banned for no reason because of Steam server maintenance.

    This is not our job to think about 'hey, there is Steam maintenance in less than 30min, let's quit DbD for 1h to prevent being banned for no valid reason'

    However, it is your job to disable your auto-ban system during this short period of time, thanks!

    Are you even aware of this annoying issue @ devs ???
