Why Dwight is the most liked character by BHVR?

Weird question but I don't understand why Dwight in particular.

A lot of cool cosmetics, jokes and titles while mentioning him.

Any idea why?

    1. He was the first survivor made so there is probably some sentimental value to him
    2. He looks like Matheu cote so they might be biased
    3. People play him a lot

    Most memeable.

Meme = attention = free advertising.

    Makes sense to push him.

He's not based on Mathieu, just for the record, and looks a lot more like another dev (the one he's actually based on).

Really? Damn never knew that. Either way him looking like a dev might be a reason

Let’s say that dev came in in a different outfit cosmetics team would be like “let’s make that a cosmetic for him”
