Is the Survivor Challenge "The Shield" Broken?

I've tried numerous times to try and complete this challenge. It says "Take 2 Protection Hits in 1 Trial" so I'm pairing it with "We're Gonna Live Forever" so I'd get extra BP and so that I can tell if I got the protection hit. I got 2 stacks for taking protection hits, but after the trial the game said it still needed to be completed. Help?

You can onky take protection hits for injured/ carried survivors .

You may have safe unhooked a survivir and thought you were done.

I never unhooked anyone, safely that is. Took 2 Protection Hits for carried survivors
