So it took six months to work on Trickster

And this is what he turned out to be after six months...

Is a 110% killer, yikes.

Has to damage you with knives, and requires eight to do so.

Has very bad recoil

Has a useless power that fills up his meter, the Main Event as we know it.

Can't keep his Main Event power in order to use it for certain situations

Forced to use it instantly, and even then it's not worth.

Gets slowed down while using his knives

Can't do anything with them in maps that have buildings or on a map like Lery's.

Jungle Gyms and Killer Shack is his worst nightmare

Basically have to M1 survivors in order to at least make your job not stressful, and don't bother much with the knives.

And pretty much takes the official F Tier spot for worst killer in the game

So yeah after six months of working on Trickster this is what the finished product came to be, and if he doesn't get Trick Blades basekit and his amount knives needed to damage survivors decreased to at least four or five.. Then he's gonna be needing a massive rework at some point down the line, and to actually make him you know feel like a Trickster.

Comments

  • I think BHVR just needs to ask their fog whispers to playtest upcoming killers and have them sign a NDA.

I know LoL has been inviting streamers to play upcoming champions before they release and even give them trailer videos they can share after a certain point in time.

  • when he was made he was probably way stronger than his current form but got adjusted based on game limitation and what the staff felt was too strong, we dont have any way to know how much effort was put in this killer.

  • They really really need to take feedback or hire someone who plays this game regularly at a high level. It feels like no one is competent with balance and Trickster is like an extreme example that is actually a reality.
