April Fools' Appreciation Thread

What’s up ladies and germs of the fog, it's that time of year once again.

That’s right, its 𝘿𝙀𝙑 𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙍𝙀𝘾𝙄𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝘿𝘼𝙔.

So, some of you may be wondering... what exactly is dev appreciation day? Is it some kind of food? Something I can wear on my head? A myth, man, and/or legend?

Well wonder no longer! I’ve come to start a new thread intended solely to house 𝙋𝙊𝙎𝙄𝙏𝙄𝙑𝙀 𝙑𝙄𝘽𝙀𝙎.

So, everyone. Play nice for a change and say some good things about McCote and the crew.

Man, does this mean I have to be nice to Brown Toolboxes even though they're clearly OP? Ugh.

I think they've done a pretty good job, so far.

Also I love playing Demo or pallet Freddy. Demo is a good boy. Pallet Freddy causes the same accomplished feeling of a plan coming together as a good Trapper game, you can watch the survivors fall into your trap (or try to hit you with a pallet), and know you won this exchange.

How you got into DBD:
Ngl. started waaay back in 2016, tis but a rough time. didn't know much, was into it abit before i wanted to quit at some point, Then michael came out and got hooked again,
Your favorite killer, survivor, map, etc:
Deathslinger is my all time Favorite, David King my best Boi Survivor, Map... irdk.. It's hard to say per say..
Feel-good stories:
This was waaay back. This was the first time i was getting into michael and i got paired against two hackers, only back then was speed hacking at the time. But somehow through my nubless self, i gotten a 3k and let the last one go, one of the survivors before said hacker just gave up on hook,
Most exciting match:
I got plenty of Exciting matches ngl. This was actually recently, was doing a Fun little mini tournament as Deathslinger on Thouse, only missed like two shots that entire game and hit every one, i even managed to hit the hard corner shack behind the locker which made chat go bonkers,

Funny moments:
Plenty of these too, Has to be the one time where i downed everyone but one as either blight oni or slinger, and have them in this lil circle before the last survivor came outta hiding, walked over towards me, looked at all his downed teammates looked back up at me, then just shook his head, put his toolbox down and walked off, Never laughed as hard in my life at that moment
Cosmetic loadouts:
....Hm, Slinger with his Noice Suit, Silver rail gun and p3 head (will get his p3 head soon damn it) And David with his Day of the Dead head, Shirtless and Black pants,

I got into DBD through the Xbox game pass and boredom
Favourite survivor is Jane. Favourite killer is clown and favourite map is the saloon
My best feel good story was a feng who was a streamer who said I wa a great billy (I was learning him at the time) it was really encouraging.
Most exciting match was against an a really good Clown. He managed to 4k us at 1 gen but we all had fun and it was GG’s all around
Currently on a break due to burn out but I enjoy playing it since I miss evolve and like the horror licences it has

Ah yes, I too enjoy jesting and joking and having a merry good time with my fellow sirs/madams of the fog.

I got into dbd after getting recommended a YouTube video of all of the killers trailers, and then watching Monto play Legion.
My favorite killer is Legion, because they were the ones that got me into the game, not to mention I like their playstyle. My favorite survivor is Ash, because I'm a huge Evil Dead fan. My favorite map is Coal Tower, because it's the most balanced map in my opinion.
There was this one time I got a "gg wp" from a survivor, and we ended up getting into conversation about the game and playing swf with each other.
My most exciting match is a hard one to pick, but I'd say it was my game. I played Billy and got swamp, and I ended up getting a 4k.
I enjoy playing this game mainly because of the people who play it. I met one of my best friends through this game, and not to mention so many other good people.
There was this one time me and my friend played against a farming Spirit, and whenever we would heal each other, we would purposely fail every single skill check. It was so funny watching Dwight just yell every couple of seconds as Spirit watched and nodded her head.
My favorite cosmetic loadout is anything to do with Ash's puppet.
