All jokes aside, here are some changes that Trickster needs asap

I don't think this will make him top tier but it might stop him from feeling like he's flatout the worst killer by a wide margin.

1) Recoil/spray control.

This was mentioned on the ptb and we can already see a number of people bringing it up now. He flings blades from his left and right hands, none of which ever head towards the center of the screen. I understand why it's there, pinpoint accuracy with 60 blades thrown as speed is too much, but as of right now if a survivor just spins around in front of you most blades seem to miss just due to the way they travel. This is being brought up by a good number of players and it seems especially console players. It doesn't have to be pinpoint accurate just tighten it up a bit. If a survivor is stood 1-2m in front of you the blades should not be whizzing past their head. On top of this getting any attacks at range becomes pretty bad especially when it takes 8, you really need to get close to survivors for Trickster to be effective which isn't great on a 110% killer.

2) Main event activation

This is meant to be Trickster's secret weapon and yet it's the most underwhelming part of his kit. The main problem is that the killer can not control when it's active which leads to gaining it when you have no use for it. For example on yamoaka it activated for me as the survivor approached one of those high wall jungle gyms with the weird layout, I decided to use it as not to waste it, it's literally impossible to use it in there because the survivor just keeps turning corners around high walls. I did not have the option of saving it as had I managed to force the survivor out of there with a 110% killer, it would have likely expired anyway. This is consistent across all maps it becomes available at completely useless times.

Oni - Controls when he activates his power

Shape - controls when he activates his power

Ghostface - controls when he activates his power

Plague - controls when she activates her power

Trickster is the only killer I can think of who has a power like this but does not get to control when he uses it. Would it break him to have it available at any point? I really don't think so. Not with how weak he currently is.

3) Main event delays

You gain main event by hitting blades so right now it's subtle but you hold M2 to aim blades, you throw one, then you have to let go of M2, and then press CTRL to activate main event. This little delay really does not do him any good. You should be able to press CTRL the moment main event becomes available, so he transitions instantly from M2 aiming -> main event. This would be a nice QOL change and would help him use it more effectively.

Additionally the cooldown after main event is far too long for how useful it is. I haven't timed it but it feels like 15 seconds before you can throw blades again? he would be fine with just the 4 second staring at hands cooldown. Again this killer is so underpowered right now that having that cooldown and then being able to throw blades would not break him.

4) Movement speed

Quite simply he slows down too much when aiming for how useful his power is. It makes sense for Huntress because 1 hatch = 1 hit. On a killer that needs 8? maybe he should get a bit more leniency in speed.

5) Number of blades required to deduct a health state

This one is more debatable but would reducing it by 1 blade really overpower him?

I think 4 and 5 have potential balance impacts that need research but in my opinion points 1,2 and 3 are definitely needed for the overrall health and playability of this killer.
