Why is there no hatch opening animation for keys?

I was 3 meters away from a hatch and I was about to prevent 2 survivors from escaping via a key.

and then the key user just taps a button, opens the hatch and they both escape. It was almost instantaneous

There was literally nothing I could do and they both ended the game too soon. Why is there no hatch opening animation? I could have stopped this whole interaction if it were possible.


Opening a chest requires an animation.


Opening the gates requires an animation.


Hatch is ######### instant.

    Yeah. Pretty sure when keys do get nerfed, an animation will be added in and from my guess, the skeleton key will have a faster animation compared to the dull key.
