Map voting

Many people think that stuff like Moris, Keys and Map Offerings are altering the game too much. Especialy for killers its difficult to defend against 4 offerings of survivors even with this new "green hand" that noone has to play every game.

I thought about a map voting system that works like this:

  • when all 5 people are in the lobby the survivor can vote for a map they want to play in the first 30sec, if the votes are sided towards one map survivor vote for it, if the votes are equal between several maps one is taken randomly
  • the picked map is presented to the killer who has now the ability to agree to the map the survivor voted for or to veto the map
  • in case of a veto of the killer a completly random map will be played
  • bonus: survivor can only switch their character and items in the first 30 sec

I think its fair to play a map when both sides want to play it and if the sides can not vote for one map they will just play a random one, no hurt feelings.
