This shows either one of two things...

1. The person is the survivor and the killer either was deathly obsessed with them, or was influenced by them for dark reasons/took it too far. It could also be reversed.
2. The person is the killer, and took their inspiration to a "whole new level" in some way, and the survivor could not be directly associated with them (which is pretty common for survivor and killer chapters to not necessarily relate to eachother).
