Razer Chroma Support
I was looking around a Steam Community discussion from all the way back in 2018 asking for Razer Chroma support for Dead by Daylight. The discussion lists things that could be for both killers and survivors. The features are as follows.
The survivor's keyboard would be white as they were healthy, but the keys along the edges of the keyboard would turn red when injured/downed. While the survivor was on the hook, their Razer devices would pulsate red slowly to the center of their keyboard, getting closer to the center as the hook timer goes down. A suggestion I have would be that every time you take your chance and fail the keyboard would flash red, but when you successfully escape from the hook (either from taking your chance or being unhooked by another survivor) there would be a cute little red sparkle effect. The mouse/keyboard depending on your keybinds would turn a light orange color when interacting with items. When the survivors were in a chase, WASD (movement) and spacebar (vaulting, actions) would pulse a bit with red/orange. In a mori animation, the survivor's keyboard and mouse would flash red and then finally fades to black once they die.
Now time for the killers.
The Chroma would be a dark red constantly. The red flashes to black and then back to red when they are stunned, and when they are blinded by a flashlight or firecracker, the keyboard would be white and fade out with the actual flashlight blind on the screen. A nice bright flash of red when the survivor is put into another health state by your basic attack or hooked. Different killers would have different lighting features, too! Like for example The Trapper. When someone gets caught in your trap, you would get a nice little red sparkle effect. Or with The Spirit, your lighting could light up blue!
Time for some nice features for both sides.
The first four function keys (F1, F2, F3, and F4) would light up according to all of the survivors' statuses. White would be healthy, light red would be injured, blood-red would be downed, e.t.c. Your arrow keys would light up with the color of your perk. As a good example Whispers would go off for your screen AND keyboard. The shop in the menu would turn your lighting orange and all that. Last but not least, the offering screen would turn your lighting dark and then light up with the color of the offering that was just revealed.
Hope this gets in, I would love to see my keyboard light up according to the game!
