Can't even load into the game (switch)

I play both on switch and PC, the PC version of the game works fine but when I went to try on the Switch version I can't even get off the screen after watching the cutscene. Did this update break the switch version or something? Can anyone else with the switch version check too please?

try turning the switch off for 5 minutes. not just sleep mode off but truly hold down the power button until the power options appears and then select a proper power off. it works for me when i get this issue.
