Amusing New Killer/Survivor Idea: Tremors

This would be a bit of a radical departure seeing how all of our Killers are currently bipedal (for the most part) slashers. Tremors has had its 30th Anniversary and I think it would make an excellent addition. I'd love to see a Graboid Killer and Burt Gummer as the Survivor. Consider the following:

  1. We already have a code base for the upside down, i.e. the look of something tunneling under the map and going to different fixed points. This could serve as the basis for Graboid burrowing, albeit with a slightly different, more earthy look. Likewise, the Killer would see the Auras of people moving. Those running would be visible more brightly and further away, while those walking would be dimmer and visible shorter ranges, and those crouching about the map would be faintest of all and visible only extremely close. *Those not moving would not show up as an aura.
  2. The creature, as part of its power, would also have something of a base kit version of Stridor to be able to hear the sounds of the injured or breathing of those it passes near whether they are moving or not.
  3. The speed would likely be standard 115% but the Killer doesn't care about terrain while moving about, only when it surfaces. Obviously it cannot surface under terrain and would be affected slightly in this way.
  4. It would have a tantrum attack, not unlike Leatherface, when it erupts.
  5. It would also have a short range attack to represent shooting out its tongues (probably not unlike Pyramid Heads) since it will not be able to move once surfaced.

I'll give it more thought obviously, but I think a Tremors chapter would be a hoot.
