Sound is atrocious
It's so frustrating playing killer for a variety of reasons but tracking survivors is a big one. I'm fed up of losing survivors which really affects the outcome of a game because you refuse to fix the sounds that you broke years ago.
The sound is abysmal on any kind of map where you lose line of sight especially so on smaller killers.
Hit a survivor -> they speed boost forward -> BOOM ALL SOUND IS GONE!
Chase a survivor -> they vault a window into a jungle gym -> ALL SOUND INSTANTLY GONE!
It's like theres a hard limit on sound. You hear it, hear it, hear it...up until about 8m or so then....silence. It just cuts out. Thats the real issue. It doesn't slowly get quiet its just sound, sound, sound, silence at the 8m mark.
Why not have sound gradually fade out? its ridiculous when even the speed boost from a hit can push the survivors far enough to completely cut out the sound. Just losing survivors because the sound doesnt work, the fov is awful, and the graphics are murky, blurry and ugly really doesn't translate to a fun gameplay experience. I get you want survivors to be able to break line of sight but your game is becoming really frustrating to play. How about having a more gradual fadeout of sound on distance for a start.
