Why was the original pip system changed?
For all of it's flaws, it rewarded killer players for killing and survivor players for surviving. Rather than the current system that rewards both sides for extending the game and punishing them for performing too well.
So why was it changed in the first place?

An excess amount of rank 5 campers because they were rewarded for not moving this is why trapper was very good because he could put a trap under a hooked players feet and if not disarmed the saved person would be trapped and no ds and bt was a one time use
Sounds like a massive incentive to gen rush.
How far back are we talking?
It used to be based on how much bp you made.
Then for killers it was how many survivors you hooked.
Then the emblem system for both sides.
