Killer Seeing Map Marker

I am on Xbox with crossplay and last night while playing killer I was able to see a beacon of light that I assumed was the marker addon for maps. After the game I checked and sure enough one of the survivors had the addon. I’m pretty sure only the survivors should be able to see this. I guess to recreate it you simply need a survivor to use it and I’ve only seen this once since this addon is so rare to be used anyways.
