Totem cleanse and defense could be a reward
If survivors cleanse a totem, they get that totem just like they would search a chest. If they can escape the trial, they can stack up totems and can be exchanegd for certain rewards such as skins, etc...
On the other hand, if a killer sacrifices a survivors who, for example, cleansed 3 totems. They can get those totems from the survivor and stack it aswell. Also they can be rewarded an exchange of totems.
This could really be a mini game in the game. But beware, if survivors focus too much on cleanse, either gens are not done(finally a alternative for genrush) or noone else from the survivors will be able to escape the trial with extra totems.
