Why do I always get 4 survivor friends?

When playing killer I you only get 4 surv friends who annoy u with head on and 4 ds + ultra flashlights and what not. But once you actually go survivor, you get troll teammates that suicide on first hook or play as if its their first game. Can someone please explain to me what this ridiculous matchmaking is?


This is by no means a cry out, just getting annoyed by the fact, that the matchmaking is absolute garbage and frustrating if you play solo.

    When you play killer teams of 4 would easily fit in the four available survivor slots.

    When you play survivor, you are taking up one of those slots. Chances of you joining a 2x SWF are uncommon and 3x SWF are rare (without an offering). So most likely, you are grouped with other solos who will play for there own survivial and not yours.
