Wouldn't feedback from a PTB be lack luster because its for PC and not console?
I feel feedback would be very lacking from the PTB because its only feedback from PC and not console. How can they get all the nessacary information for balance changes if they only look at PC and not console. The two are very different so most likely your going to receive different feedback right? So how can the devs make accurate, fair, and balanced decisions for all systems if it only looks at the perspective of PC?

Not to be that guy but there isn't that much skill difference in skill between console and pc, the only difference is fps and aim precision, telling you as someone who was on ps4 and now it's on pc.
They do review updates on the live branch several months after to adjust for how players react. The PTB is more like a marketing tool and not solely to get feedback.
The problem is that console stores, (xbox store and whatever playstation uses), have specific requirements for developers which make it impractical to run a PTB on console. I don't know of any game that does test builds for console.
There are still PC users that use controller or PCs with low specs that at least somewhat cover those areas as well..
I play on Xbox and to be fair, I get why it is PC only. First off the game was released for PC then ported a few years later to console, so they were used to going through Steam.
Then they discovered it takes sometimes a week or more to get updates approved through Sony/Microsoft while Steam is a couple days at best. This means a turnaround after a PTB would be either just over a week, or maybe a month in length.
I'm sure there's other concerns as well, but the biggy is time. And some of us already give the devs crap for "moving too slowly" but including console somehow in a PTB just isn't practical atm.
