How is Undying of any use now when Haunted Grounds exist?

Undying now is using a perk slot to make one of your hex have a second chance. Why would i use it over Haunted Grounds when HG has at least one effect when it's destroyed? The 3 dull totems having vision i don't think justifies running this perk.

    Undying guarantees that the first totem survivors break is not your hex, haunted grounds can't do that, there is a 1/3 chance that your "desired" hex totem will be broken
