My Recent Experience
Lately i was downgraded onto rank 18 as killer and 13 as surv and i played my way back to the top again ( 5 killer 6 surv at the moment) and i come to a conlcusion: the better you are, the less fun the game makes. I know that sounds a bit strange out of a mouth who has fun on low rank who should be red rank, but the thing is, on low ranks i was really able to play this game like it really was a horrorgame. I wasnt running at the beginning and i was playing with killers who seemend to have joy in killing and wasnt complettle fixated on winning. you also get so many different killers from time to time. it is the same as killer. your not under pressure, can play a bit with survs and have so much more time to use your ability in more fun ways. for example the pig. were i just put two traps on hats, watched a bit how they would performe and aply pressure to the others and then i switch. or the demogorgon: walking slowly through a hall way, here a cracking in a spot, turn there an open mouth to scare them. But the best part was that i nearly didnt got any toxic survs or killers. even if they all won the mostly just run out and saved themself without even thinking for a minute about buttdancing against the man with a giant knife in his hand.
I dont know what to expect from this post. First of all i dont expect any changes in the rank system. maybe it will be shut down for a while like the bludlust is at the moment, but i really dont think the devs will ever bring the courage to really change something on theire holy rank system making "dbd more balanced than any other a symetrical horror game" or whatever they say about it.
If i think this through, i`not expecting bhvr to even read this. that never happens.
