Current rift should be extended due to Console performance issues.
At beginning of rift the game was pretty much unplayable for many ps4 players taking away play time towards completing the rift. Now the next gen Xbox players are experiencing issues as well keeping them from playing - odds are many traded in old Xbox for new one so can't play on their old systems. The rift is already extremely grindy when there are not performance issues hindering the progress, losing weeks worth of playtime because the game is not playable on their systems is going to cause many to not be able to finish through no fault of their own.
