What to do about killers being able to hold a survivor hostage the whole game.

I just sat for 15 minutes locked in a corner on a gen by an invisible wraith and I had nothing to do at all.

it makes no sense to my why killers can do this and why their hitbox doesn't get removed for 3 seconds after standing in the same 1 meter radius for 20 seconds.

It would make it so much better so people don't have to waste 10 minutes on queue time and then waste additional 15 minutes extra because the killer decided to.
