Crawling for cover and capturing survivors

So for a while me and my friends have frequently returned to the topic of why one can't crawl under dropped pallets when you're in the dying state.
One might say that it would be unfair to the killers, but of course there's a way around that as!
My suggestion is that there are some places, such as brigdes and dropped pallets, where survivors in the dying state can crawl under from one side to the other, as long as there's nothing in the way on the other side. There's also some places where there's crawl space, like under the patio (?) on the yamaoka estate that would be fun if you can partly crawl under.
I say partly in this case so that it would be fair to killers.
I think it would look really cool if the killer could grab onto your legs or arms and drag you out from where you've crawled under, and then from there the usual pick-up animation goes in.
In summary: survivors should be able to crawl under dropped pallets, and if they could do that, the killers should be able to drag you out from where you've crawled under.
