Hillbillly Addon Buff: A Review

First of all. Love Hillbilly. Love his kit. Do not love some of his addons. This is small suggested buffs to a handful of Hillbilly addons to make them more useful than they currently are without overdoing it and staying within the set spirit for each:

Tuned Carburetor:

Suggestion: Increase base movement speed to 4.5 m/s. 4.4 m/s has been reserved for killers with strong enough powers to make up for looping. Hag sets traps. Deathslinger and Huntress hit over windows and around loops. Spirit - who knows what she's doing in her power. Hillbilly just goes in a straight line. Charge time addons are very strong on Hillbilly, but does not make him comparable to the base kits of these other killers with this addon.

The problems I am having while playing Hillbilly with this rare addon are maps like Haddonfield. The main building within this map is an absolutely nightmare for Hillbilly at 4.4 m/s. The other killers can make up for their speed. There is no way for Hillbilly to.

4.5 m/s stays with the spirit of a movement speed penalty, but lessens the damage to make him playable on more maps. It also puts him in a very highly exclusive club of 4.5 m/s killers. With Hag that makes an army of two.

Also, Hag needed that 4.5 m/s to make up for losing her power. I feel that Hillbilly can be compared to the "Waterlogged Shoe." Something to consider.

Black Grease:

Suggestion: Add a secondary effect of "slightly increases the Chainsaw's rate of cooling when a flashlight is shining on you." Many addons in the game have multiple effects. Demogorgon is a great example where a green addon has the effect of two yellows. A yellow that has the effect of two brown addons.

Adding a passive 'slightly increases' makes this addon feel like it is doing a bit more than it currently does by taking the effect used by utilizing the language from "Punctured Muffler." Then it's original intended use isn't necessarily so dependent on survivor interaction alone.

Mother's Helpers:

Suggestion: The pre-adjusted charge time addons were strong as base. I should admit here that I think the rare addon should have the identical effect of the pre-adjusted Hillbilly's brown addon for charge time and his current very rare should have the identical effect of the pre-adjusted Hillbilly's yellow addon for charge time. I imagine we will have to stay within these boundaries, but leaving it to survivor interaction means Hillbilly is denied the use of his perk the entire match. I would like to see this buffed like the suggestion above for Black Grease.

Add a passive buff to Hillbilly so that if survivors deny the use of this addon (knowingly or unknowingly), it feels that there is some utilization.

Or. Add a larger period of time to this charge time duration.

Or. Add a token system to it where the charge time grows stronger with each token (each pallet stun the Hillbilly survives) for the rest of the match.

Secondly, add an icon in the bottom right (like Nurse's rare addons such as "Bad Man's Last Breath") so the Hillbilly player knows that it is active and has an idea of how long it will be active for.

I do hope his addons do receive this pass.

Thank you for reading my thoughts.
