Trailers before PTB
Hey BHVR, I was just wondering why you guys stopped releasing full trailers for new original chapters before the PTB drops. Starting with Chains of Hate and now with Descend Beyond, the trailers have come out after we know everything about the chapter from the PTB, making them kind of pointless despite how good they look. Just a recommendation; take a look at Cursed Legacy, arguably the original chapter with the most hype around its release. The trailer saying the ptb was available right now was fantastic for hyping it up, and I wish more chapter releases did this rather than just anticlimactically releasing the ptb with little warning. This was especially prevalent in Chains of Hate, where it kinda felt like it just dropped with little fanfare. Thanks!

I agree with this 100%. Let's look at the last 4 chapters:
Cursed Legacy: Really good build up with teasers of Rins grandfather. Trailer released before the ptb built up the hype even more. 8/10
Chains Of Hate: One teaser of a chain. No trailer before ptb. Felt underwhelming. 3/10.
Silent Hill: Build up was mainly done by the community. We knew when the trailer was coming out so it built up suspense. Excellent trailer into immediate ptb. 9/10
Descent Beyond: One short teaser before it which confirmed the communities belief that the killer was the alchemist. No trailer before ptb which made the Blight feel a bit meh. The trailer shown was excellent and if it was shown before the ptb it would've been amazing. 6/10 because of the community.
This is probably the biggest reason as to why a bunch of people aren't happy with the latest chapter. This isn't how you hype up a brand new upcoming DLC at all, with a *kinda* misleading trailer, then the PTB product being completely different to what the majority were expecting. I still love the hell out of Blight, best killer they've ever made by far, but they could've definitely marketed it better.
