Some changes to 'problem' perks? Survivor edition

We all know there are some perks in this game that are just absolutely irritating for the other side to face. These are some of my thoughts. Please keep in mind that although i do favor the killer side as that is the side i started playing with, i do play both sides nearly equally. (Yes I'm admitting to my bias but also explaining that i take both sides into consideration)

Object of Obsession. Strong perk that pretty much breaks the game with 4 people in constant communication. I feel the problem is the aura reading. Way too much information is given. I propose switching auras to killer instinct notifications. You still know generally where the other person is but cant watch as trapper and hag place traps or know for sure what the survivor is doing. Just seems more fair to me.

Borrowed Time. This is a needed perk against camping but is also often used to unsafe hook when killer has no intention of camping. I feel like a small timer before the perk activates 10 or so seconds to give the killer time to leave. Also, the endurance effect should activate regardless. If the killer isnt near it wont matter anyway.

DS - Shorten the timer to 20-30 seconds at most. Pause timer while in chase or downed. Anti-tunnel, and also anti-momentum killer. Possibly cause perk to deacticate in exit gates

No Mither - dont notifiy killer of the broken status. Or just keep survivor exposed all game. (Kind of funny against a stalking Ghostface wasting time for the instadown)

Unbreakabill - If survivor gets up on their own, remove the recover speed. Similar to stagger reduction on balanced landing. Although with DS changes this probably doesnt need changing.

Alert - not really a problem but should really just give a noise notification.

Comments

  • Make borrowed time based on meters instead of terror radius so stealth killers can no longer ignore it.

Also make survivor lose collision while under the effect of borrowed time.

You have to avoid the permanently active while downed to avoid situations where the hatch is no where near the exit gate but the exit gate is 99ed or near it and the last survivor has DS.

If DS is permanent while slugged the killer will literally have to slug the survivor to death so they don't escape.
