i mean dont get me wrong is kind of a case. you need to be organized probably on SWF but it can delay a death for so long it has it use and is not as bad especially with campy killers... giving the others extra time as long as they are doing gens with prove thyself or so it could do so much damage... obviously wont work in your average solo games but in the highest level it does.

    It can be pretty handy if you actually know someone has it before it activates and people play around it, yes.

    Especially if the people in question are actually willing to do stuff like letting someone go struggle phase/die on hook if it seems like the correct play. Something that a lot of people aren't really willing to do intentionally in my experience.


    But it's also important to keep in mind that in the tournament they're basically playing a different game. Not only does it have an entirely different scoring system that encourages that sort of very... collectivistic survivor gameplay, every match is only one half of a full "game" as well as both teams play both killer and survivor, and both sides earn points in specific ways. That also has a big impact on how people play.
