High Difficulty killers should have high power, and possibly vice versa
When I see a killer like The Demogorgon, you must learn to place your portals strategically so they cover the most distance without being seen or head. Your shred timing must be on point given you're 92% in shred mode and it's only a 12m lunge that also needs to be charged up a bit, his shred goes in a straight line so you cant go around a loop with it. I'm pretty sure the same principal could apply to other killers in terms of difficulty.
His addons are god awful to the point that his best is a brown one, he's rewarded the undetectable effect after emerging from a portal but you can hear his footsteps and "abyss" sounds from a mile away.
Meanwhile freddy is wait 60 seconds doing nothing and you're in surprise mode, it's very difficult to discern once you're in the lullaby if he's 32m away or 2m away. You wake yourself up and 60 seconds you're back in sleep mode.
His chase shutting? Place snare at one side of loop, push survivor into it, survivor hit.
His mobility? Hold E to teleport to X gen.
His difficulty? Easiest killer in the game.
His kill rate? Highest in the game.
It's not fair.
The weaker killers should have some of their aspects that overcomplicate them removed which will make them overall easier, and in fact stronger, at a same level with other kills.
Freddy's and Hag's traps reload automatically, why does clown have to stand at 30% for 5 seconds just to get FOUR more bottles which he'll likely use up 2-3 of them in a chase anyways, and will have to reload after it.
The oni can conserve his power through picking up a survivor if he sees no one is nearby, why can't mikey do the same? Hell why does mikey's power completely run out at 1 point in the game but ghostface's and oni's keep going forever?
Minor tweaks to weaker killers to easen their difficulty will increase them stronger and hence increase pick rates.
Remove demo's shred charge time concept.
Make clown's bottles remove passively.
Make trapper's traps all spawn in center to pick them up easier, and he has the brown bag at base-kit.
None of these changes would make the killer "OP", just easier overall to play as.
