Rework Concept for Keys and Moris
Cypress Mori is made base to all killers with its current effect. (Grants the ability to kill the last remaining Survivor by your hand during the next Trial.) - Reasoning: Last survivor downed is dead 99% of the time if you're not sparing them intentionally anyways.
-
New Ivory Mori: Grants the ability to kill one Survivor who has progressed through two Hook States by your hand during the next Trial. Hook-related perks will apply.
New Ebony Mori: Grants the ability to kill all Survivors who has progressed through two Hook States by your hand during the next Trial. Hook-related perks will apply.
-
New Dull Key: A bent and dull Key that once held great power.
The Dull Key's power cannot be triggered by itself. Various objects can be attached to its jump ring, which channels the Dull Key's remaining power into various effects.
5 seconds of use.
Finish a 10 second channel on the Hatch uninterrupted to open it and escape immediately. The Hatch will be immediately closed afterwards but will not start Endgame Collapse. Once a Key has been used on a Hatch successfully, Keys cannot be used again on the Hatch.
New Skeleton Key: A tarnished and crooked Key, vibrating with ominous power.
The Skeleton Key's power cannot be triggered by itself. Various objects can be attached to its jump ring, which channels the Skeleton Key's power into various effects.
30 seconds of use.
Finish a 10 second channel on the Hatch uninterrupted to open it and escape immediately. The Hatch will stay open for 30 seconds afterwards and up to 3 other Survivors can escape through it. The Hatch will be immediately closed afterwards but will not start Endgame Collapse. Once a Key has been used on a Hatch successfully, Keys cannot be used again on the Hatch.

This would work towards making Moris more interactive, but without becoming useless. Mori to avoid saves alone for a death hook are usually not worth it because of the time they take and Hook-related perk procs being more valuable most of the time. Furthermore, the death hook requirement would keep it fair.
Likewise for Keys, they would allow for survivor(s) to escape but would not be instantaneous.
The similarity being that Ivory Moris and Dull Keys would only allow for the death or escape of one single Survivor, whereas Ebony Moris and Skeleton Keys would potentially allow for the death or escape of all four Survivors.

I posted something about this a few hours ago and I think you have nailed it. One of your last points confuses me though as the hatch doesnt spawn until the number of survivors + 1 of all the generators are repaired, so with all 4 survivors alive the hatch wont even spawn until all 5 gens are done so needing half the gens to be done doesnt seem needed. But yeah, I love this.
Yeah, I realized that a few minutes after posting it and edited the main post to reflect that.
