Reason why we probaly will never get colorblind options and barley any more QOL changes.....

Money, its that simple. As long as the options are not locked behind some sort of pay wall we will probaly never see colorblind mode or quality of life features.


In the end of the day DBD is nothing but business for the devs. Devs need money, colorblind mode wont give them money so it wont be worth the effort. Buffing DLC Killers will give them cash (Yes of course Bubba needed some love but still....), an option to change the color of auras and scratch marks wont.

Space coconut recently made a great video explaining it all and I couldnt agree more with what he said.

    The truth does suck alot, it's always the games with cool concepts that have the worst devs unfortunately

    If that was the case then:

    • Any change made into main game wouldn't happen unless as DLC because it doesn't give them money,
    • The party feature wouldn't exist (and wouldn't get improved),
    • Cosmetics/Killers/Survivors that are you can buy with playtime wouldn't exist (ridicolous playtime but still playtime)
