Small Tweak For PH For Balance

Give PH a 2.5 second delay to M1 after putting your sword down and not using your range attack. Like Huntress when she puts a hatchet away. She can interact but can't immediately swing her axe. Do the same for PH so he can't just stand behind you to see if you'll throw the pallet for a guaranteed hit or keep going so you just get M1'd instead. It would add a little counterplay for survivors and force a play by PH.

He has add-ons that increase the time you can drag your sword incase someone is worried about forcing him to cancel too early. If anyone disagrees, feel free to give reason why or if you agree, why also. Thank you.

Edit: I'm talking about M1'ing immediately once someone doesn't throw the pallet while dragging your sword. If you cancel the attack, you should have a short CD like Huntress putting her hatchet away.

  • It will make him really weak. It's incredibly difficult to use his ability on a running survivor. Besides he does have counterplay. Its holding W, pre dropping pallets when he's not scraping the ground, doubling back and dropping pallets if he is and judging his range and dodging left or right when at a window.

Playing PH will help you understand his limits. There's a way you can insta M1 while scraping on the ground though. That needs to go. Otherwise he already has a cooldown between M2 and M1

@Zeus I play PH at Rank 1. I know how to use him. My thing is, he should have a slight CD when canceling a drag so he can't instantly M1 someone afterwards for an easy hit. If you're behind someone, unless you do something wrong, you will get a hit. Stop before touching the pallet to see if they drop it. If you see them dropping it, use range. If they keep running, M1 them. When you're that close to them, it's just about impossible to dodge a good PH.

Oh thanks for the shout out. Btw I play rank 1s both sides and most killers (except nurse, spirit because they are strong) so I don't think I'm biased. Let's hear your argument on why PH is OP now.

That's what I mean by doubling back and dropping pallet on his head. Bait that you are not going to drop it then you drop it. Pre drop pallets to maintain distance. Judge his distance and act accordingly. Besides he has a cooldown already. You increase the time and he becomes useless even at regular loops and even at T-Ls (you can bait window and go back through it now and PH will be on his cooldown) The counters are plenty. Don't play him like another M1 killer. Play differently.

He's a chase oriented killer so removing his ability to end chase quickly would make him weaker.
