Decisive Strike (My opinion)
This perk is a really controversial perk. For me, the perk is alright as how it is. I personally have had never had a problem with it when playing killer but it is a must perk to have when playing survivor (I play solo). I can definitely see why many people want a change to the perk as it can be “abused,” upon entering a locker. My change is to start off a change to Moris and Keys. The reason I say this is because, entering a locker with Decisive Strike is the only way to prevent being moried or the only way to counter them (just like what it did I before). Moris and Keys should honestly be removed from the game as they are a “free escape” and “free kills.” They don’t help either side improve in gameplay and only promotes hate towards each other.
Now for my change for Decisive Strike. The perk should stay how it is but buff a killer perk that already exists, Iron Maiden. Here is my change:
You open Lockers 30/40/50% faster. Survivors who enter a locker will deactivate any perk upon entry and will be affected by the oblivious status effect. Survivors who exit lockers suffer from the exposed status effect for 25 seconds. Staying in a locker for more than 5 seconds will highlight the locker in a yellow aura.
This will stop the abuse used on Decisive Strike and will counter other Survivors perks, Head On and Inner strength and also help killers who struggle with survivors being “too stealthy.”
This game really needs more perks to shape up the meta, this is my opinion. The perk does not need a nerf it need to prevent being abused and it is the only perk that helps solo players (yes they exist).
Feel free to leave your thoughts and Good Day!

This would make it a direct counter to perks like Inner Strength. And thinking about how it could combo with other perks, Iron Maiden + BBQ would be hugely strong. I think it would be simpler to just have DS deactivate if you get in a locker, and just buff Iron Maiden to increase the length of the Exposed status (as it is now, unless you are right next to them or high mobility, it's hard to get a down).
Do people still hide in lockers from BBQ?
At my rank they do 🤣
