For anyone curious about the MMR on Xbox...

This is how it’s been for a while now. And when you play survivor at rank 1 you’ll pull killers with less than 12 hours in the game.

  • I'd like to see more scoreboard screenshots please. With the same killer since the lockout thing would make this a little trickier to prove.

  • Put a blanket over the rank and that's their solution to the issue.

BHVR said to expect this as the new system is still building up user information data. The new MMR system didn't incorporate any previous data from anyone's accounts, so when it went live on xbox, it started everyone from scratch. After a week or 2 however, things should level out more for everyone as it counts their wins and losses, and starts pairing them with like-skilled players. Unfortunately this also means that for killer players, every time they switch to a different killer, they're going to start up against mixed or low skilled players until the system learns how well they do with said killer. So killer players will take longer for the system to assess vs survivors as it rates survivor skill in whole instead of individually per character. In the end, I'm optimistic, but we won't know how beneficial the system really is until it's built up enough data and starts pairing us correctly, so by all means keep playing the same killer for a few days, and see if your matchmaking improves or not.
