Should the killer have more information regarding maps during trials?

Hello everyone.

When the survivors and killers spawn in a trial, they have absolutely no knowledge of the exact details of the map, other than what map and type it is, which gives some clues to map elements and their placement. Furthermore, players who have a lot experience with the game and maps, will know more than other players in the trial.

Survivors are supposed to adapt to their environment and situation, hide and seek out generators, to repair them so they can escape their situation. Killers are supposed to hunt, kill survivors and utilize various elements and map knowledge in their known hunting grounds. However, the hunting grounds are not known to the player, they may be lorewise to the killer, but not the player. The killer is already at odds with time, and this means that the killer will not only be at a disadvantage as it's against several opponents, but also the lack of map knowledge is against the killer player. This is further aggrevated if the killer player has little to no map experience.

Do you think the killer player should have access to more map knowledge during the trial? Knowledge that pertains to the actual map, such as the map layout, terrain, basement location, obstacles, buildings, placements such as hooks, pallets, lockers, chests, active & dull totems, crows, breakables such as doors and thrown pallets, known current activity, and other aspects and elements such as these?
