Legion rework idea (It's likely garbage so don't read it unless you're bored)
Like the title says, this rework idea is probably garbage, will it be op or utter trash, dunno, just thought it up while I was in the shower and thought it was cool. Do I think the devs would ever add it? Hell no, it'd be too expensive and complex for it to be worth it when it's just to rework legion. With that out of the way and 90% of you gone, let's go.
First thing to get out of the way, voice acting, not those grunts you hear but genuine voices for each character, communicating among each other during the match. What would decide who you'd be playing as is purely the body, mask and knife don't matter, if you choose a Susie body, then you'd be voicing Susie. Let's all admit it, the devs made it a group of people so they could sell more cosmetics and that's it, I'll be doing my best to change that.
Now kit-wise, the Legion (gonna say this for the rest of time since there's two girls and two guys, if I refer to "Allies" then it's the bots in the game, but we're getting ahead of ourselves) would start the game crouched and with their mask off. I feel like the trailer and teasers are what pissed everyone off, because it made it seem like the Legion would both use multiple killers and hide among survivors, so since the trailer had Frank with his mask off, that's apart of their kit now. There's a few things about the Legion's hidden state, first off and the most obvious, the Legion is undetectable and at a reduced movement speed (exactly like pig) and can't injure survivors whatsoever in this state (no grabs no nothing). What the Legion can do is tag people and that's the next new thing.
The Legion starts the trial with three charges, tagging a survivor (looking at them and pressing the attack button from any distance while hidden) will use one of those charges. What those charges are, are actually your Allies and one of them will randomly follow that survivor (by randomly, I mean one of the Allies you haven't chosen as your body, and they'll say something to you upon doing so), what I mean by follow is teleport, similar to changing your character in the menu screen but at a new location while crouched and hidden with their mask off similar to ghostface leaning from a wall. If a survivor notices one of these fine people, they can walk up to them and say hi... only to get stabbed, affected by deep wound, and notifying the Legion via killer instinct, but it does make you no longer tagged so that's good. Upon doing that, the Ally will return to Legion and apologize or get pissed at getting found out.
Now, what do those tags actually do none of you ask, is simple. Upon activating his ability, "Ambush" will begin and use all your charges, then each of your Allies will ambush the survivor they were tagged to in the exact same way as current Legion's frenzy, couple differences though. First off, it's way shorter than current Legion's frenzy, don't know how short but whatever you feel is balanced. Since it's a bot, it will endlessly charge at you, if you stun them or the timer runs out, you will no longer be tagged and they'll disappear in the exact same way as they teleport, they just don't come back. They'll vault windows and pallets normally though, so if you're skilled enough, you can try and get the stun, or play it safe and preemptively throw the pallet. If hit, you'll be affected by deep wound and notify the killer via killer instinct.
So this sounds garbage at the moment, but there's one more thing, Legion can still use their current frenzy with some differences. First off, hitting a survivor no longer notifies you of other survivors in your killer radius who aren't affected by deep wound, you can still vault pallets and windows quickly and whatever survivor you hit will be affected by deep wound as normal. The cooldown is longer than it is now and using your frenzy returns all your charges (meaning you can no ambush until you tag more survivors). Now the biggest difference and what might make him overpowered, is if you hit a survivor during a frenzy that one of your Allies inflicted with deep wound, you will down them. Hitting a survivor that's already affect by an Allies deep wound won't reset your bar though, and while you can't see Killer instincts when you personally hit a survivor anymore, you can still see killer instinct through your allies and your ability still refills when you hit a survivor not affected by deep wound. This doesn't mean you can just hit someone twice though, if you try to hit someone you personally applied with deep wound again with frenzy, you'll just get stunned like always. Another thing is that you recover quicker if you personally stop frenzy and haven't hit multiple people.
So I just wanted to write this down before it's forgotten about, I honestly don't think anyone will, but if a Legion main happens to actually read for whatever reason, you can go ahead and tell me why the idea's garbage and I'll be a disappointment for the rest of my life because of it.
