An Idea to change up how survivors and killers work

This is gameplay wise, however no nerfs or buffs will occur (unless this works correctly)

So I had an actual shower thought on how BHVR could balance characters out and give players on console a chance to try out characters for free to see if they think a perk/power is deemed UP/OP while also making Tomes less of a pain to 100%

First things first, upon chapter release the 2 characters who released along side that chapter are Free-2-play for anyone who does not own the chapter or characters in the chapter. The F2P form of these characters will have restrictions however, having the level cap being restricted to 29 to prevent players from getting Teachable Perks from them unless the chapter/character was purchased. This lasts until Midchapter Patch.

(Quick thing to say, you can still level up a F2P character when they reach level 29, however it does not increase past it until you actually unlock the character via in-game store or chapter purchase)

When a new Tome starts, all characters that are involved in the tome will be unlocked and work the exact same way as chapter release characters. (Read Above if you are curious)

In my opinion, this can help distinguish if a character needs changing easier and quicker outside of the PTB and allows Console players to try out the characters as well, along with making tomes easier to 100% and reducing the grind for players who don’t own all the chapters.
