Clown rework?
Here is my suggestion for a clown rework:
Change in how Afterpiece Tonics are used
-The clown can now place Afterpiece Tonics on the floor. This tonic is activated when survivors run in it's vicinity. It reveals the location of the survivor and slows them down. The clown can still throw tonics.
Changes in the Effect of the Afterpiece Tonics
-When a survivor is hit by the afterpiece tonic, they will have a slower vaulting speed in addition to the slower movement speed.
Changes in how Afterpiece Tonics are retrieved
-When a survivor is hooked, the clown receives 2 tonics back without having to reload.
New Power
-The clown is given a new power called X. This new power is charged by the clown using his Afterpiece Tonics. The more survivors get hit by the tonic, the faster the power will charge.
-Once X is activated, the clown can use his special Lethal Tonics for 60 seconds. If a lethal tonic hits a survivor, they are slowed down and receive the exposed status effect.
Conclusion
Some of this might seem imbalanced, but this was just me brainstorming ideas. Let me know what you think. I believe this rework could make clown a lot scarier.
Comments
I think he just needs a form of map pressure. He's slow and big maps are a nightmare for him.
LOL Love me some clown though, he really is one of the more fun killers for me. I like throwing them bottles.
I really like clown's design, it's a shame he's not that good at higher ranks. In my opinion, The Clown is the worst killer in the game and many would agree with me. Leatherface and hillbilly updates could've waited to be honest. Instead, they should've focused on the clown and given him something more than just a small buff.
They should have changed Clown and Bubba IMO, Big Belly Bros > Chainsaw Bros.
Yea Hillbilly had some questionable add-on combinations, but he hasn't broken the game in the past 4 years, I think an add-on rework for him coulda waited until next midchapter.
Here's my opinion: They should be buffing bad killers (like Clown) instead of nerfing balanced and enjoyable ones (like hillbilly). It got me wondering whether there will be future nerfs to my favorite killers. It's part of the reason why I wait before getting a new killer, to see if they will get nerfed and devalue my money.
