FNaF Killer thread

Look guys, I know theres lots of these already. BUt just hear me out. FNaF should come to DBD. Just not...now. With the FNaF community's reputation being what it is, some people may despise any FnaF characters coming to DBD, especially considering the fact that DBD is mainly a love letter to classic horror, while FNaF is more of a jumpscare sim. I think that The Attraction (Springtrap/William Afton/Purple Guy) could work, and that it would be a different styled killer that we haven't really seen before, but with the way everybody is right now, and the reception of the idea as a whole, it may be better to postpone the idea of The Attraction being in the game as of now.

It would be best to not put Springtrap into the game for these reasons:

  1. With the FNaF movie already in the works, and will most likely be released in the next 1-3 years, would it be very kind of us to force the devs to ask Scott Cawthon, the creator of the franchise, to go through more paperwork and legal stuff with his franchise that he already (and may still be) going through with the FNaF movie? Nobody likes paperwork, and nobody likes to be pestered. Don't bite the hand that feeds.
  2. With the reception that the community is giving the Springtrap idea, if he were to be put into the game some fans may feel that their voices or opinions were completely overlooked, while others may rejoice.
  3. Fanbases colliding. Everyone knows about this reason. It has been said a thousand times, and will be said a thousand times more, but not here.

With all this in mind, lets look at the other side:

  1. Springtrap would be a very unique killer lore wise. Considering the fact that Springtrap murdered children, was forced into his suit that would later kill him, and how the Entity could bring him into DBD, it would be an interesting spin on the FnaF lore for DBD, allowing the devs to have a little fun with how they bring him in.
  2. His power would be similar to the trappers, with using traps placed anywhere around the map. It, as NotGabriel said in his post, would bring a phantom animatronic to jumpscare you, and make the survivors scream the Doc's power would. Each phantom animatronic is different, corresponding to the specific action that the player is doing. This would also allow FNaF fans to see some of the animatronics in full 3D in a licensed game.

  • No. ######### fnaf, springtrap and every single one of these posts. You all just open a new thread and say exactly same things. You add nothing new.

Im not an alt. There are so many posts because people started spreading the idea and concepts around.
