Despite the hate, the criticism, the feedback on the ptb and likely the player satisfaction survey thats soon to come following this gutting, theyve already spent money on making sounds for his overheat mechanic. Meaning this is likely set in stone and will never be looked at again because "we did it guys". Another one in the books of boring killers to play. Billy will now have to run around the map staring at a cool down bar. while survivors do gens on the opposite side of the map. Watched true play yesterday with an ultra rare add on and a very rare add on in the same game and he just barely one due to survivor error. Nothing he did couldve decided anything while his cooldown was on, and it was frankly boring to watch. Im sorry devs, but you dont know what youre doing lol

If slugging is such a problem why don't you run perks to counter it
Please tell me which perk prevents my three team mates from being slugged and I will make sure I run it for the very remote chance that I would be playing survivor, never mind facing a Hillbilly.
Unbreakable no mither old Insta heal perk also if you don't want to run them that's your fault

This is what happens when a company pretty much has a monopoly on the asymmetrical game genre. They can do whatever they want to the game because there is no better alternative for people to play, so therefore no reason to keep the playerbase happy when everyone will come back to dbd anyways.

You don't go through a ptb with huge changes to just scrap them. Only Nintendo and Naughty Dog do that.
