Skill vs cheap tactics

Was watching trues stream when he talks about the ph nerf. Personally i don't really see it as a bad thing i send the survivors to the cage and keep applying pressure elsewhere. But there were some killers who would just body block the cage or tunnel survivors out of it because of no ds or bt. Now obviously theres the case of end game but its no different then hooking a survivor at the end your gonna have to worry about ds and bt because survivors are at their strongest at the end (if most of them are still alive). Could you get easy 4ks by just you know tormenting survivors hooking them downing them again then caging them then just rehooking them? Yes i consider that to be a cheap tactic myself and it was obviously a oversight. This will not effect the good players who can apply constant pressure. Does ph kinda suck right now because his long ranged attack and stuff sucks right now? Yes and that can be adressed. But even coming from a killer main i see this as a great decision. Skillfull play should always be more rewarding then me just tormenting you putting you on the hook then caging you then just rehooking you or sitting infront of the cage unmoving till you die. (Which facecamping bubba you can still maybe get the hook off i have before).

  • I don't know what to think about this change. It always feels a little strange taking something from a killer and not giving something back. A lot of people hated his cages. They changed them. A lot of people hated the fact that it's very difficult to hit with his ranged attack and that the cooldown might be too big if you miss. Nothing has changed.

Edit: But actually I haven't been playing so much dbd lately. I needed a break. Maybe his range attack + cooldown are okay.
