Is There Something Wrong With Head On?

So the past few games I have played I have ran head on in order to do a stun challenge. However I've noticed that when I head on the killer, I get exhausted yet he keeps on walking and is 20 feet away from the locker in a matter of seconds. Is this a bug or is it some kind of desync situation with the dedicated servers. I've seen it happen to DBD twitch streamers as well. Has anyone else ran into this before?

    I believe this is to do with dedicated servers.

    This seems to do with servers and when I have it happen to me it's usually because the killer's playing either from Mercury or Mars, I can't quite tell.
