Bloodlust needs a rework or needs to be replaced
So Bloodlust doesn't do it's job if the Survivor is good.
There are dozens of loops in the game (not even big ones, 3 alone in the new map) where a survivor can loop for days and if they cut the corners / wall hug and you're a "large" killer (IE: Most of them) and you do that, you will catch a corner get stuck for a moment and that's the chase. During these Bloodlust does accumulate. IF it finally does, they can corner catch you or break line of sight if there is a door near by (again plenty in new map) and it ends chase almost immediately, and you lose the 1 stack that took 45 seconds to get.
Having 3 games in a row, where I was looping for over a minute with no bloodlust stack (still in chase) is not fun enjoyable, nor is the mechanic working.
Either fix the coding for how it triggers along with chase and small corner loop areas, or do something different, like flip it.
Put the penalty on the survivor, not the buff on the killer. If a player is in a chase for X time, slow THEM down. Take the factor that's breaking bloodlust (big models vs corners) and put it on the survivors. This will also remove them from tea bag dancing during chases (esp with 2+ survivors) because they're slow down timer will be ticking and they can't just drop it like they can force Bloodlust too.
I love this game, I've played it for years. But when I come back to killer and see stuff like this still happening AND the mechanics to prevent it not working, and finding the best thing to do is stand still and hope the player messes up (nah we just stood there staring at eachother, then they complained at ME) it's a broke unfair system

and you lose the 1 stack that took 45 seconds to get.Where did you get that information?
If a player is in a chase for X time, slow THEM down. Take the factor that's breaking bloodlust (big models vs corners) and put it on the survivors. So um... instead of the situation you described happenning on killer side, it happens on survivor side? Okay?
+You get no information as killer that something happenned.
EDIT: Oh one more thing, if a chase is lasting that long maybe you should just drop it.
Milo,
I got that information from playing the game. Chase drops randomly even on loops constantly, thus ending the stacks.
It happening on the survivors side fixes several issues
1: It takes power away from the survivor, thus making the killer scary (as should be intended)
2: If killers are losing Bloodlust or having it not build up properly due to not being able to "tight loop" like survivors can, I would imagine being able to program it to function for survivors better wouldn't be difficult. Actually, what you could do then, is apply the "slow" to survivors who were in a chase but still in heartbeat range. This would allow it to work around "dropping" chase but still applying the chase bonus/penalty. This would also ensure the heartbeat wouldn't effect those nearby who were not discovered or chased.
Seeing a survivor slow down is information the killer can easily receive.
Correct, if the chase is going that long, I should drop it. Unless that player is the one accomplishing the most. Or is the last survivor. Or more than 1 of them has the skill to loop like that.
