Pipping as survivor.

I usually main killer but recently I've been getting my survivor, or at least trying to, up to rank 1. The pip system makes no sense. I had a game where I unhooked 5 times, healed 7 times, completed 3 gens, broke 3 totems and had the killer chasing me for a decent amount of the game yet i still didn't pip. Meanwhile, I have a terrible game where I only do half of what I did in the other game yet I pip? I've played about 50 or so games the past two days and it seems extremely inconsistent.

Can someone please explain how it works

    Your emblems don't really depend on what you do, but rather how long the game lasts.

    Also, killer diversion on lightbringer needs to give double what it does right now.
