Can Nurse's powerbar work like PH's powerbar?

Right now Nurse relies on charging a blink from 0 to 100, and doesn't work at any continuous point along that path, only at the discrete 100% point. This leads to a lot of problems, mainly the 99% charge problem.

What I suggest is to have her powerbar work like PH's. His is continuous and can be used at any point in time he as power charge. Applying this to Nurse:

-Charging a blink now drains from the charge like using Rite of Passage does

-If you've blinked once and haven't filled up the second blink, you can still double blink but the distance is limited to how much charge you had (same goes for 2 blinks -> 0 charge -> bar filled up some but not enough for 1 full blink -> trying to blink now gives you a max distance of whatever the charge was of a full blink)

This is MUCH MUCH more skill intensive and rewarding than our current system. It also doesn't constantly HALT HER GAMEPLAY TO A SCREECHING STOP every 3 seconds.

  • It seems like a very nice idea but i could see it being problematic in a way that you can't hold your blinks anymore without making your second blink way too short, because you've drained to much power holding the first blink

But at least that will be the players choice. You can choose to short your 2nd blink or wait. Right now it's not the players choice to decide when they want to blink, they have to wait for the next blink or they're #########. Very little player agency in that scenario.

What I hate most about her rework is that it changed her from a player driven choice machine to a strict "do this" and "do that" or you pretty much lose now.

I'd say the meter should only drains when the blink actually gets charged, not when you hold it after its fully powered.

    It doesnt sound impossible.
